WORKSHOP-COLLECTIVE PERFORMANCE “COME ALONG”
Different elements come along and interact, celebrate encountering and radiate true-self together. Probably, they don’t know each other but they give the best out of themselves to create spontaneous, loving and inspiring happening.
“Come along” is a workshop-collective performance where different people waken their inner voice, authenticity, true emotion, make sense of objects around them and come together to create sparkle.
We kindly invite you to join one of three workshops and participate in collective performance as a result of the workshop!
Please choose the workshop that resonates with you the most and applies here! (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1jh4Ps21GoluE4NBdWlB2Z-lXjlUAItDpJ0R-E_njHts/viewform?edit_requested=true)
Plan for workshops and collective performance
1st part (2-3h), workshop - workshop leaders will work with 3 groups to create an interactive performance. The groups will work in different places in Daugavgrīvas Fortress without seeing each other. Each group will explore different “material”: emotions, objects or voice. 2nd part (20-40 min), performance – four groups come together in a fifth place - a centre of four group’s locations - for the performance. They encounter, mix their “materials” and create happening. The audience will be invited one by one in the performance and integrated to “Come Along” so they became participants and co-creators. 3rd part (optional, max 30 min) – a reflection on the experience of workshops and performance.
The themes of workshops:
“True Emotion” : The workshop will work with stepping over our social borders. Let’s follow the fear, let’s listen, understand and fall in love with each other using techniques from improvisation and movement theatre.
“Objects and Authentic Conversation”: Let’s feel the sense of objects around us, let’s lose our minds and find ourselves! In this workshop, we will explore how objects can become an inspiring drive of dynamics of honest conversation between humans.
“Inner Space of Voice”: Come along and meet your voice! Let’s celebrate the journey into the subtle vibration that creates sound. Let’s feel it, sing it, speak it out loud!
