How does the Self relate to its own body, other bodies and the common body that always creates itself on the spot? How does the Body speak for itself and what it says being responsive to the group it is in? These are the questions we will investigate in the workshop and test in a collective performance.
“Speaking bodies” will be a workshop-collective performance where its participants will concentrate their existing state of mind so that it is manifested in each of their bodies separately and in a common groups’ body together.
Plan of workshop-collective performance
1st part (2h), workshop — two workshop leaders will work with two groups of volunteers to create the interactive performance. Each group will work on different way to express body: “Poetic body in the real world” and “Body language or how to talk with the body”.
2nd part (20-40 min), performance – both groups come together for the performance. They encounter, interact, and create happening. Audience will be invited one by one in the performance and integrated into the performance, so they become participants and co-creators.
3rd part – reflection on the experience of workshops and performance.
